The Wine Hills Of Prahova

Join Cycling Romania for a cultural leisure bike trip over the hills, through wonderful forests and vineyards. The route is addressed to all nature and beauty lovers, having a medium physical fitness, since few hill climbs are expecting us.

We will meet at 11:00, on Saturday, in Urlati, only 25 km away from Ploiesti and 85 km away from Bucharest
We will taste the best wines at
a traditional local wine cellar
What do we do:
On Saturday afternoon: we taste the best wines from the region (Feteasca Neagra red wine is a must!) and visit a traditional wine cellar, we see how the rich landlords used to live centuries ago, we get accommodated at a very nice hotel and we dine in a courtyard surrounded by vineyards.
On Sunday: we visit 500 years old monasteries, we check the local architecture, and, nevertheless, we leave the urban dusty gray of Bucharest and hide into the vivid green of Dealu Mare landscape. We smile and enjoy the ride. We take back good memories and new friendships.
We will visit great 500 years old monasteries
